Chapter 1: The Worst Student in Class

The classroom was noisy, but Li Ming didn't care.

教室里很吵，但李明不在乎。

He sat in the last row, his head on the desk.

他坐在最后一排，头趴在课桌上。

English class again.

He hated English.

他讨厌英语。

The words looked like ants crawling on paper.

His test paper had a big red "23" on it.

他的试卷上有个大大的红色"23分"。

"Li Ming!" The teacher called his name.

"李明！"老师叫了他的名字。

He stood up slowly.

他慢慢站起来。

"Read the first sentence."

"读第一句。"

Li Ming looked at the book.

李明看着课本。

"I... I am a... stu... student."

"我……我是……一个……学……学生。"

Everyone laughed.

所有人都笑了。

He sat down, face burning.

他坐下，脸烧得厉害。

After school, he walked home alone.

放学后，他一个人走回家。

The sky was gray.

天灰蒙蒙的。

"Stupid English," he kicked a stone.

"该死的英语。"他踢了一颗石子。

Suddenly, his phone buzzed.

突然，他的手机震动了。

A strange message appeared on the screen.

屏幕上出现了一条奇怪的信息。

"Hello, Li Ming."

"你好，李明。"

"We have selected you."

"我们选中了你。"

"The World Script is now yours."

"世界剧本，现在归你所有。"

"What?" He stared at the phone.

"什么？"他盯着手机。

Then everything went black.

然后眼前一黑。

He woke up in his room.

他在自己房间里醒来。

But something was different.

但有什么不一样了。

He could see words floating in the air.

他能看到空中漂浮着文字。

English words.

英语单词。

And under them, Chinese words.

Look.

看。

He looked.

他看了。

The words changed.

文字变了。

A boy is waking up.

一个男孩正在醒来。

He is confused.

他很困惑。

He is a bad student.

他是一个差生。

But his life is about to change.

但他的人生即将改变。

Li Ming rubbed his eyes.

李明揉了揉眼睛。

The words stayed.

那些文字还在。

"Am I going crazy?" he whispered.

"我疯了吗？"他小声说。

Then a new sentence appeared, bigger and brighter.

接着，一行新的句子出现了，更大、更亮。

You are not crazy.

你没有疯。

You can now see the World Script.

你现在能看到世界剧本了。

Everything that happens is written here first.

一切发生的事情，都先在这里写成。

Only you can read it.

只有你能读到它。

And you will save the world.

而你，将拯救世界。

Li Ming's mouth fell open.

李明的嘴巴张大了。

"But I can't even pass English class!"

"可我英语都及不了格啊！"
